5 Star Performance Awards
The 5 star programme is aimed at helping riders to develop specific performance skills through training, whether this is through BSJA training organised by the Area or through private training. It aims to provide some clear goals and competencies that riders can strive for and achieve recognition. The awards are open to any current BSJA memeber riding a horse. Riders can print out the log book which requires you to; set out your personal goals, achieve the ridden skills outlined and answer the questions correctly. |
Supporting Young Riders in Surrey (SYRS)
Area 44 are looking for Surrey based BSJA members who are under 21 years old and are riding horses, as we have started a Young Riders programme. The aim is to develop young riders by giving them the opportunity to be taught by British Show Jumping Accredited Coaches, Sally Thurloway and guest coaches including William Funnell, Duncan Inglis & Corinne Bracken. If you are in this age group, please contact Sally Thurloway so she can send you more information about it and answer any of your questions. |

Let us know what you want!
We are really interested in what you, the junior members in Area 44, want. The Academy is for you .... but we don't have to stop there. If you've done something great and would like to share your success then let us have details and a picture and we'll tell everyone about it. If you got some good ideas that would benefit all the juniors then tell us about them and we can work on them together. To be interesting, the newsletter needs contributions, so don't be shy! Send us your pictures and stories and we'll include them. |
